Whimsical Flavors

Wow haven’t played a visual novel-based cooking simulator before, this was very comfortable and enjoyable.  I also really like the color palette chosen for the art style, it brings a sort of nostalgic feel to it. I am also surprised by the fact that the meal drawing was added for each meal, depending on the ingredients. This made me think a little bit in terms of my cooking skills, and it was fun to see dialogue change depending on your selections. Sound effects and some simple background music would surely take this game to another level. Overall, a very unique and enjoyable experience. 

I really liked the art for the game, it definitely gave it a comforting atmosphere and it made it more enjoyable while playing through the story. I also liked the UI for the menu and how there is a lot for players to adjust and use when loading in their game. As for the story, I thought there could have been more engaging options to choose when replying back to Baylee, the answers you can select are quite simple. Aside from that I thought the story was really cute and I like how the art fit with the concept of the game. I think it could have been nice to add some simple background music, something that suits the style of the game.
